Educational Psychology

Educational Psychology intends to enhance the effect of learning and the wellness of learners by scientifically approaching human learning and psychology. The Educational Psychology program of Korea University specifically grounds its work on expertise in the field of human development, motivation, and neuroscience to analyze and understand the motivational states in learning situations, to design and verify interventions regarding motivation, and to produce knowledge for designing effective learning and effective learning environments. Moreover, through constant research, the program aims to foster professionals who can contribute globally to advance the future of educational psychology. All lectures are conducted in English, and theses/dissertations are also written in English. Graduate students majoring in Educational Psychology will participate in various research projects as researchers at the Brain & Motivation Research Institute during their studies.
