To raise counseling practitioners and researchers through a systematic counseling education, the Counseling program strives to build an international counseling research network via excellent academic research. Counseling is a process in which clients and counselors work collaboratively to research issues that students face, such as academics, careers, school life, and emotions, solve these issues, and promote self-growth. Therefore, the Counseling program focuses on applying and learning the diverse psychological knowledge and experience necessary for performing counseling. For the sake of practical learning beyond theories, students participate in counseling practices in school counseling centers and career development centers to gain understanding and experiences of real counseling sessions.
